About Me

Background

I reside in Upstate New York with my two amazing daughters, ages 16 & 8. I am also newly engaged as of April 2025. After giving birth to my youngest in August 2016, I found myself rolling into some financial issues. So I went out and got a better paying job. But when that still wasn't enough, I went out and got a second job. Of course with making this decision, I was making more money, but losing something that was extremely important. Time with my children.

Why the travel Industry?

Once I decided I wanted my time back with my children, I started looking into business ideas. I wanted to do something fun, something I would enjoy, and something to give me time and financial freedom.

I had always been the go to person when it came to booking travel, so I figured why not be a travel agent! I did tons of research, made tons of phone calls, and had tons of face to face meeting with travel agents. But no one gave me a straight answer on how to start my own business! For a while, I actually gave up. But I knew the amount of money that was in travel. Even during a pandemic, there are still airplanes in the sky. I couldn't give up on something that I knew could allow me to work from home, on my own terms, and travel more than ever.

In January 2018, after months of researching on my own, one thing I did discover was that I needed to find what's called a 'Host Agency.' One morning before work, I decided to jump online and do one of my now routine, "becoming a travel agent" google searches. Surprisingly on this day, I came across a host agency I had never came across before. Long story short, I knew right away that this was it! I still remember how excited I was that day.

I realized that I needed to find what's called a Marketing Representative, in order to get my agency started, so that's exactly what I did. I searched on Facebook, and came across a woman that was able to help me, and the rest is history!! For the first time, someone was actually ready and willing to provide me with all of the information I needed to start my Travel Agency. Not only that, but I could also help other people start their own agency! This meant a lot to me, since I had personally searched for so long, and no one was willing to help.

To say that this business is a blessing is an understatement. I not only gained back time with my daughters and multiple streams of income, but I gained a business family. In 2020, I made the most money in my business than I had ever made. This was during the pandemic!
